DOCUMENTATION & SUBSTANTIATION SERVICES

Aviation Design Management (ADM) also provides the following schedule of services to owner/operators or modification/completion centers of transport category airplanes and rotorcraft, commuter category airplanes, and small airplanes and rotorcraft.

 

 

Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Certification

Aviation Design Management provides Designated Engineering Representatives (DERs) for FAA Certification of aircraft designs, modifications, test plans, and manufacturing processes.  DERs are authorized to approve data for the following disciplines:

  • Administrative/Management
  • Structures
  • Mechanical Systems and Equipment
  • Flight Analyst
  • Flight Test Pilot
  • Powerplant
  • Electrical and Avionics Systems and Equipment

Types of Approvals Supported

  • Type Certificate & Supplemental Type Certificate

  • Major Alteration

Aviation Design Management coordinates major projects with federal officials located within FAA-Aircraft Certification Offices and with local Flight Standards District Offices (FSDO).

Aviation Design Management also provides on-site modification and installation support for customer provided aircraft mechanics and inspection.  All modifications and designs will meet or exceed customer requirements, Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs), and known Military and/or Federal Standards.  All project documentation is produced to MIL-STD-100 specifications using computer-aided-design.

Aircraft Airworthiness Inspection

Aviation Design Management provides Designated Airworthiness Representatives (DARs) in conjunction and coordination with local FAA-Manufacturing Inspection District Offices (MIDO) for the following services:

  • Issuance of Airworthiness Certificates
  • Export of Class II aircraft products and parts
  • Issuance of special flight permits
  • Import and export of Class I aircraft products, parts, and engines
  • Conformity Inspections of manufactured aircraft parts and installations.

Aviation Design Management also provides DARs and other inspectors to provide the customer with in-house inspections of facility and manufacturing processes.

Aircraft Design Analysis

Aviation Design Management provides analysis services for the aviation industry.  Federal Aviation Regulations require certain design analysis whenever a Type Certified aircraft is modified.  The following types of analysis are:

Aircraft and Aircraft Component Testing 

Aviation Design Management provides Flight Test Pilots, Flight Analysts, and Instrumentation Analysts to insure quality and flawless operation of an aircraft.  All modifications and installations are tested within the guidelines set by Federal Aviation Regulations.
